S.R. is a 68 years old Ukrainian citizen with severe congestive heart failure. He fled Kyiv and crossed the border to Moldova. The Israeli delegation comprising of United Hatzalah of Israel and Sarit Lerner - CTO of Sheba Beyond, the first virtual hospital in Israel being led by Dr.Galia Barkai, MD MBA and Dr.Gadi Segal, connected him to the Biobeat remote patient monitoring platform, enabling physicians from Israel, including Dr. Robert Klempfner, the head of the CHF rehabilitation program, to provide expert consultation, leading to treatment adjustment.
The system is now deployed and fully operational by Sheba Tel HaShomer City of Health's medical teams in Ukraine within their field hospital.
