Continuous Remote Patient Monitoring Shows Early Cardiovascular Changes in COVID-19 Patients

COVID-19 has negative cardiopulmonary impacts, which result in a worse prognosis for the most severely affected individuals. In this retrospective multi-center observational cohort study, a chest-patch wearable was used to provide continuous remote patient monitoring of various vital signs in hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

The study analyzed the trajectories of these key vitals and was conducted in five COVID-19 isolation units, with a total of 492 COVID-19 patients included in the final analysis.
