Biobeat’s Smart Sensors Enable Breakthrough in Objective Vaccine Safety Monitoring

We’re thrilled to be featured in a recent NoCamels – Israeli Tech & Innovation News article highlighting a groundbreaking study that demonstrates the potential of smart sensors in evaluating vaccine safety.

In this study, volunteers were equipped with Biobeat‘s chest patch, which continuously monitored physiological reactions from one day before vaccine administration to three days afterward. Our device tracked 13 key physiological parameters, including heart rate, breathing rate, blood oxygen levels, temperature, and blood pressure.
Nearly all objective measures detected significant changes in these parameters post-vaccination even in participants who reported no adverse effects.
Dr. Yftach Gepner from TAU’s Sackler School of Medicine emphasized the importance of continuous, sensitive, and objective testing in vaccine safety. With advanced monitoring like Biobeat’s, there’s no longer a need to rely solely on self-reporting in vaccine assessments.
