Michael Gioffredi is a successful medical device commercial executive with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling high-performance commercial organizations. He has led commercialization efforts across venture-backed startups and publicly traded companies, aligning commercial strategy, field execution, and investor priorities to maximize shareholder value and patient outcomes. Michael has deep expertise in launching novel technologies, scaling U.S. and international commercial operations, and navigating liquidity events, including IPOs and strategic acquisitions.
Most recently, Michael served on the commercial leadership team at Axonics, Inc. where he spent nearly seven years helping lead the successful launch and growth of the Axonics sacral neuromodulation (SNM) and Bulkamid systems across the Western United States and Canada. During his tenure, Axonics became one of the fastest-growing medical technology companies in North America and was ultimately acquired by Boston Scientific for $3.7 billion.
Previously, Michael held senior executive roles across multiple high-growth medical device companies, including President of Global Sales and Marketing at Lombard Medical where he supported the company’s U.S. IPO; Chief Commercial Officer at Vessix Vascular where his early global commercialization strategy contributed to the company’s $425 million acquisition by Boston Scientific; and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AngioScore where he led global commercialization ahead of the company’s $300 million acquisition by Spectranetics.
