Maria Delgado-Lelievre, MD, is a Hypertension Specialist at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and Founder & Director of the AHA-certified Comprehensive Hypertension Center in Florida. The center is the first of its kind in the state and the only one in South Florida to receive the American Heart Association and American Medical Association 2023 Gold Plus Award for blood pressure control.
She completed her hypertension fellowship at the University of Michigan and her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Health System. Dr. Delgado-Lelievre focuses on advanced, individualized diagnosis and treatment of hypertension and its cardiovascular and metabolic effects.
She is also active in national hypertension initiatives and serves on multiple AHA and public health committees aimed at improving blood pressure control and prevention.
