Biobeat innovates at 30K feet!
Partnering with @Elal on a flight from Tel Aviv to London, we used our disruptive technology to allow passenger patients to be monitored during the entire flight. The Biobeat monitoring platform measures a wide range of complex vitals such as blood pressure, pulse rate, blood oxygen saturation, cardiac output, respiratory rate, skin temperature, heart rate variability and more, using a small wearable, wireless, non-invasive monitor. The data was transferred in real-time from the Biobeat sensor, uploaded to the cloud via the inflight connectivity platform, and then to the EL AL headquarters and to a leading Israeli hospital, where Elal’s Chief Medical Officer and emergency medicine staff looked at the data in real time. This provides important practical support for medical decision making during any emergency situation on the plane, helping take better care of passengers.
